Welcome to my online Shop!
Hi there! I’m Betsy, the creator behind South Horizons Candle Co. My journey began back in 2019 when I started working as an online English teacher. Spending so much time at home allowed me to nurture my love for plants—especially succulents! Their beauty and resilience have always inspired me.
For a while, I dreamed of turning my passion for succulents into a small business, planning to sell them as adorable gift sets. But growing and maintaining plants takes time, patience, and space. I started exploring other creative ways to share my love for these tiny wonders.
One day, while browsing online, I stumbled upon the cutest succulent-shaped molds, and it sparked an idea—succulent candles! Combining my love for plants with my interest in creating something cozy and long-lasting felt like the perfect match. From there, South Horizons Candle Co. was born.
Balancing my teaching job and testing my candles has been a labor of love. I’ve spent countless hours perfecting each design, scent, and detail to create candles that bring warmth and joy into your home. Thank you for supporting my small business and being part of this incredible journey!
